Bettersearch Plugin

The Bettersearch plugin provides a full-text search feature with a modal search window that works with all Typemill themes. It also includes a sidebar filter for narrowing results by main folders. The Bettersearch plugin requires a MAKER license. A free basic search plugin is also available in the plugin directory, but it is no longer developed or supported.

Activation and Options

The plugin is activated by default for the demo instance. Test the plugin in action on the Typemill website and see how it enhances the user experience with fast, intuitive search capabilities.

In the plugin settings, you can choose between displaying a sleek search icon or a full search input field integrated into the sidebar. Additionally, you can customize key text elements, including the search placeholder, search results message, and no-results message.
