Noindex Page

You can use the noindex checkbox in the meta-settings of a page to prevent it from being indexed by search engines.

Exclude from Search Engines

When the noindex checkbox is activated:

  • The page receives a noindex attribute in the frontend, signaling search engine robots to avoid crawling and indexing it.
  • This ensures the page remains private and does not appear in search results.

Exclude from Sitemap

Activating the noindex checkbox also removes the page from the automatically generated XML sitemap. This sitemap helps search engines identify which pages to index.

Additional Notes:

  • You can find the sitemap URL in the system settings.
  • If your website is non-public, you can disable the automatic sitemap generation entirely, improving performance during actions like publishing or unpublishing pages.
